City of Grand Ledge - Mayor Kalmin Smith donated $3,500.00 to the Grand Ledge
Opera House Authority to use toward the Riverwalk Project, a pathway along the
Grand River between Island Park and Jaycee Park. Mayor Smith received the
$3,500.00 for winning Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero's "Mayor's Winter Warm-Up
Challenge" this past winter.

Fiscal year 2009 City Budget

The City budget contains detailed information about the revenues and expenditures for the fiscal year ending 30 June 2009. There are also links to the current fee schedule that includes all fees charged by the City and a separate sheet detailing the current water and sewer charges.

Grand Ledge / Oneida Recycling Center

The Grand Ledge / Oneida Recycling Center and the Grand Ledge Composting Center are once again open to the public. Thank you for your patience as we cleaned up the very large pile of debris from this year's storms and prepared the Composting Center area for the first annual Grand Ledge Reuse and Recycle Day.

The Grand Ledge / Oneida Recycling Center is open 24-hours, 7 days a week. It is open for use by all City of Grand Ledge and Oneida Township residents.

Grand Ledge Composting Center

The Grand Ledge Composting Center is open Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is only open for use by City of Grand Ledge residents. No commercial dumping is allowed at the Composting Center and an attendent is stationed at the gate to ensure only compostable materials are deposited.
