The Public Service Director plans, directs, and supervises all aspects of the City's Public Service Department, including engineering, street construction and maintenance, water and sewer maintenance, wastewater treatment, City buildings and grounds, and the City vehicle fleet. The Public Service Director identifies and evaluates the need for infrastructure construction and maintenance and advises the City Council in the design and implementation of projects. It is also the duty of the Public Service Director to develop and implement infrastructure projects for the long-term needs of the City.
