Abrams Municipal Airport is one of the ten busiest general utility airports in Michigan, averaging over thirty flights per day. It is located on the north side of the City along M-100 and Eaton Hwy. It has two runways: 9/27, a 3,200 foot asphalt runway, and 18/36, a 2,580 foot turf runway open during the summer months. Abrams Municipal Airport also serves the Michigan National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility located adjacent to the airport.
The City of Grand Ledge contracts the fixed base operator duties at Abrams Municipal Airport to Grand Air Aviation, Inc. which provides charter service, flight lessons, fuel and other services. The airport is governed by the Abrams Municipal Airport Advisory Commission and is owned and operated by the City of Grand Ledge.
