Grand Ledge trick-or-treat hours are

6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 31, 2010.

We encourage residents wishing to handout Halloween candy to turn on their front porch light and we also encourage trick-or-treaters to respect those properties whose porch lights are not turned on.

The City of Grand Ledge wants to keep its children safe. Please follow this advice this Halloween:

Children should be accompanied by a parent or large group of friends while trick-or-treating.

Children should trick-or-treat close to their home.

Children should carry a flashlight or glow stick while trick-or-treating at night.

Don’t pet strange animals while trick or treating, your costume or other’s costumes may irritate or confuse pets.

Drivers should exhibit extra caution while driving on Halloween.

A parent should inspect Halloween candy before eating. If any candy is open, do not eat it.

Please have a fun and safe Halloween!
